The Story of the Eyes

She walked in, her eyes looking for him.

She met others, smiled, eyes, waiting, longing

Then……he walked in.

The eyes met, smiled

It was just him and her

In a room full of people

Their eyes were talking ….

to each other

There were no words, no gestures

it was only the eyes

Eyes which loved

Eyes which spoke, made promises, asked questions, got answers

Eyes which crinkled when she laughed

Eyes which went up in alarm when she feared

Eyes…..which didn’t need words And yet….said it all

Then She walked out

Her eyes smiling,

His following her….
