Flavorful Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Ingredients:
- 200 GMs ground chicken
- 1/2 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 green onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 head of butter lettuce or iceberg lettuce
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
- Chopped peanuts for garnish
- Sweet Chilli sauce(optional)

Method
- Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic, ginger, and chopped green onions. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add the ground chicken to the skillet, cooking until it’s no longer pink, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
- Incorporate the finely chopped mushrooms and bell pepper. Cook until they are softened.
- Stir in the soy sauce and hoisin sauce, mixing well to combine all the flavors.
- Add the peanuts, scallions and coriander.
- Serve the chicken mixture spooned into the leaves of butter or iceberg lettuce.
- Add sweet chilli sauce if desired.
