Liberty Bay Books
Liberty Bay Books is an independently run charming book store in Poulsbo, Washington State. Starting in 1977, when it was called Shotwell’s Bookstore, the place changed hands a couple of times and changed names. It was bought by a local Children’s author, Suzanne Selfors, in 2020, who in all likelihood will give it a different name.
It’s a beautiful store offering books, e-books, audiobooks, cards, gifts and games. In addition, it regularly hosts events with authors and book clubs.

They have a friendly and knowledgeable staff ready to recommend titles depending on people’s preferences. They are happy to engage and are excited about books, making the experience even better. The store promotes local authors in a big way and has a great collection of YA and children’s books.
